Mixing business with friends or family can put undue stress on relationships.  It might start out ok, but over time it can begin to feel uncomfortable to have a friend or family member know the intimate details of your business finances.  Other times, the friend or family member is well meaning, but perhaps not as well versed in accounting and bookkeeping principles, processes, or software.

Kudos!  Delegating your bookkeeping to a professional is a smart move for your business.
